The winter months in Canada can get a little depressing sometimes. For alot of surfers this is when we would be starting to, or have already headed to a warmer climate. In this video Raph takes us on a little escape from the winter to Baja Mexico. Trading in his 5mm suite for a 3/2, we set up for a camping trip with endless points as far as you are willing to go. Or your truck will take you.

Adam Dewolfe’s entry to the Canadian surf film festival. All was filmed on one classic rainy day on the west coast of Vancouver island. Raph Bruhwiler,Catherine Bruhwiler and Peter Devries headed out on a two hour boat ride through solid swell and the clouds pissing rain the whole time. Its the reality of surfing on the west coast of Canada. If the weather sucks the waves are usually pretty good.

Mostly making fishes and quads and his version of a mini simmons he calls the Simmonoid. Ark Surfboards are in short, user friendly. Adam and Lorne have be working on all sorts of fun projects over the last year. Here is a short clip they put together showcasing Lorne in his shaping shed and his glassing garage also slipping into the ocean for a surf on a custom Ark Surfboards Simmonoid.
