My show reel for the first part of 2011. It’s been a fun year so far and I’ve been lucky enough to experience great places, people and new projects.

The reel is comprised of some of my favorite shots from recent music videos, surf films, travel documentaries, commercials and short films. Filmed throughout North America, Australia and Indonesia.

Last year we travelled north in the search for something undiscovered. We spent 6 weeks searching every nook and headland for new waves. We only scored 2 days of swell and the reward was absolutely breathtaking. In 2 weeks time we embark yet again on the same set of islands and if we spend 6 weeks waiting…..we know it will be worth it to surf Evies.

Lorne Acheson shapes high quality surfboards out of Parksville British Columbia Canada. He is a perfectionist and his attention to detail is unmatched in Canada’s surfboard building comunity. Mostly making fishes and quads and his version of a mini simmons he calls the Simmonoid. Ark Surfboards are in short, user friendly. Built for the most beginner to the most advanced open minded surfer out there.

Adam and Lorne have be working on all sorts of fun projects over the last year. Here is a short clip they put together showcasing Lorne in his shaping shed and his glassing garage also slipping into the ocean for a surf on a custom Ark Surfboards Simmonoid.
